Since its inception in 2000, the Annual European Rheumatology Congress has become the main platform for the exchange of scientific and clinical information in Europe. It is also a renowned forum for interaction among physicians, scientists, people with arthritis / rheumatism, health professionals and representatives from the pharmaceutical industry around the world. The EULAR congress is usually held in June in one of the main cities in Europe.

The scientific program at the congress covers a wide range of topics on clinical, clinical, translational and basic science innovations. Meetings organized by associations of people with arthritis / rheumatism, health professionals and the health industry complement the program. Poster sessions, which offer lively interaction between presenters and participants, are considered by many to be the heart of the congress.
