The Pan-American League of Associations for Rheumatology and the Science and Education Committee are pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 PANLAR Stimulus Award for Research in Rheumatology, H. Ralph Schumacher Award and PANLAR Innovation Award.

After careful evaluation by a jury formed of members from the different PANLAR countries, the winners of the PANLAR annual awards are:

H. Ralph Schumacher/JCR/PANLAR Award 2024

“Delay in the help-seeking pathways, diagnosis, and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus patients in Latin-America: A multinational study” Dra. Ingris Pelaez-Ballestas, México/Colombia.

Winner of PANLAR Innovation Award 2024

“LatidosCare: An innovation in preventive monitoring that aims to reduce the likelihood of acute complications (mortality and disability) in systemic rheumatologic diseases.” Dr. Ernesto Zavala Flores, Peru.
