II Review Course in Rheumatology

This coming 6 to 8 September 2017, we will be holding the II PANLAR Review Course in the city of Lima, Peru and the theme will be BIOSIMILARS.

The Pan-American League of Rheumatology PANLAR and the Peruvian Rheumatology Society (SPR) are committed to improving the health service in Latin America, raising levels of training and education as well as improving the clinical practices of rheumatologists and related professionals. This commitment has led us to develop this Course which offers an excellent opportunity to get up to date, share points of view and see where we are heading with this new class of biotherapeutic agents called “Biosimilars”.

Sessions will be organised with key speakers on Biosimilars who will provide an insight into their knowledge and experience, using innovative and attractive formats. As well as the latest in research and clinical practice, the Course will focus on providing opportunities to share ideas, experiences, discussions and questions, encouraging widespread participation from attendees and satisfactory resolution of any doubts and queries that may arise.

There will be interactive sessions on Clinical Cases aimed at promoting and emphasising the key principles in the diagnosis and management of complex rheumatic conditions. All available channels of communication will be open so that participants will be able to submit in advance real clinical cases that they wish to put to expert teachers for discussion.

This Course represents an opportunity to share academic development and the results of research and experience in clinical practice, as well as providing a forum for developing a Biosimilar protocol in Latin America. The Course will also make available areas for establishing a productive and interesting exchange between delegates and for establishing working groups in multi-centre networks.

We invite you to participate in this event which we are sure will result in increased benefits for your patients and in your personal development and professional progress. It also constitutes a wonderful venue for reaffirming old friendships and sowing the seeds for others in an environment of science and mutual interest.

We are convinced that Lima, with its cultural, pre-Hispanic and colonial background and original cuisine, which is renowned as being among the best in the world, will live up to and even surpass your expectations.

We look forward to welcoming you!
